Inclusion and talent development at the heart of Edizione's commitment

The Mundys's and Cellnex initiatives bear witness to our approach to people's growth: inclusive, strategic and geared towards the long term.

In an environment where labour market challenges are increasingly complex and interconnected, we reaffirm our commitment to valuing people, by promoting initiatives that foster access, inclusion and growth. Through the projects of our investees, Mundys and Cellnex, we nurture the future of talent, helping to build a more equitable, resilient and forward-looking ecosystem, where every person has the opportunity to fully express their potential.

The initiatives of Mundys and Cellnex are two examples of creating a business model that puts people at the centre in order to build stronger organisations and an inclusive work environment.

We are convinced that social mobility should be based on skills, merit and the uniqueness of each person, so that everyone can find their place in a fairer and more welcoming society.

People at the Center: Mundys's Strategy

Mundys bases its People Strategy on valuing its people, appreciating the diversity that fosters dialogue, and creates value for the organization.

The enhancement of talent and active listening to employees across the Group’s geographies are examples of a concrete, measurable plan integrated into Mundys’s 2030 ESG roadmap, where inclusion is one of its fundamental pillars. The goal is to build a work environment where everyone feels like an active part of change, contributing with their skills, ideas, and visions.

This foundation supports the development project launched by Mundys to map critical roles and strategic resources across all Group companies, with the aim of recognizing and nurturing talent.
The Engagement project, on the other hand, starts with listening to employees through a cross-industry climate survey already active in some of the Group’s countries. This survey captures employees’ voices on key topics such as trust, belonging, inclusion, and engagement. The goal? To reach at least 90% of the company population and achieve an engagement level of 75%.

The 2030 action plan targets include:

  • Having 35% of managerial roles held by women by 2030
  • Eliminating gender pay disparity by reducing the gap to within +/- 5%
  • Launching a training program to reduce cultural biases in people management processes

Each generation brings new energy, visions, and ways of experiencing work. That’s why Mundys has activated focus groups dedicated to Gen Z, aiming to listen directly to their voices, identify specific expectations and needs, and co-create an environment where young people can develop their full potential.

Proyecto Ignición: young drivers of change

Launched in 2017 by Cellnex, a company in which we have a stake, Proyecto Ignición is a concrete response to youth unemployment and underrepresentation in STEM fields, especially by women and non-heterosexuals.
With the aim of fostering the development of young talent, the project promotes university internships in companies, which offer a comprehensive training experience accompanied by continuous mentoring and cross-disciplinary development activities.

With more than 50 students involved and 48 partner universities (including the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Universitat de València), as well as being a training programme, Proyecto Ignición has proved to be a social transformation tool that is able to enhance young people's employability and help to bring about to a more inclusive workforce.
