Investment case

Compañía de Tierras Sud Argentino integrates animal husbandry, agriculture and forestry. The company has achieved RTRS certification for sustainable soya production and has implemented innovative, precision-based farming practices that have resulted in neutral or positive carbon capture for a significant portion of its crops. These initiatives highlight CTSA's potential for exploiting natural resources via long-term sustainability and carbon-capture projects.

ESG approach

Sustainability underpins Cia de Tierras' production activities and is reflected in its commitment to biodiversity, animal welfare, soil health and the conservation of natural resources. Cia de Tierras recognises the strategic importance of sustainability, and aims to integrate it into business practices. The company pursues this goal through engagement of its workers, who almost always come from the communities where the production sites are located. For Cia de Tierras, sustainability is not just a guiding principle, but also a value to be shared with local Argentinian people. Therefore, the company is committed to implementing a sustainable development plan, creating jobs and supporting educational and training plans aimed at local native populations.
